Fridge Freezer

A series of side by side fridge concepts for the Chinese electrical goods company Haier. The challenge was to build a side by side fridge range specifically designed for online sales.  Extensive research was carried out into market competitors, online purchasing habits and philosophies and future trends. Consumer demographics were used to construct several personas of the online customer Haier must target.

Themes including; Real 3D, Uniformed and Minimal were created to quickly build a range of sketched concepts. Refinement, details and colour are added in the 2d CAD work. A selection of preferred concepts are then built to scale in 3D CAD to develop further and begin working on engineering and manufacturing solutions. The concepts offer a direction mix between clean crisp subtle details and bold striking design features.
